"Quack!" she says to me as the ducks swirl noisily on the other side of the fence. The little white dog is riveted. She feels like such a big girl holding the leash; to my eyes she looks like one too. She's even starting to get her timing down on treating the dogs; she keeps this up and she'll have them listening to her in another 6 months. She can count to 20 an say her ABC's. She turned 2 years old last month. Surely they don't grow up that fast, do they ? She's breaking my heart at the same time she's making me so proud I could bust. How can that not be confusing?
I've never understood the big appeal of pictures where the subject is walking away from the camera. I like to see the emotion of the subject, and that's pretty hard when their back is turned. But when this came out of the camera I fell in love all the same. Maybe it's an aquired taste, like blue cheese dressing. :)
